Speaking the language
I spent time working with MSA's visual brand language. After researching MSA's diverse products lines, I did a visual study of applying their developing brand language to a group of their current products, including a hard hat, respirator, and hearing protection. The goal was to create an example of how MSA can apply its visual brand language elements in a more flexible manner in order to unify their products in the future. I was also able to help apply MSA's brand language to products that were in development at the time.
Parts of a whole
I also helped to improve components of a previous design. The goal was to make them easier and cheaper to manufacture while integrating them into an existing part of the design in an aesthetically pleasing manner.The components, a retaining clip and handle release, fit into the charger for a thermal imaging camera.
